DEBATE COMPETITION HELD AT SUKNA KV

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 19th November, 2015: A debate competition was organized at Sukna Kendriya Vidyalaya (SKV) today. The event was organized by the school authorities in association with 33 Army Core. This debate was divided into two categories. First category comprises of participants from 6th to 8th Standard and the second category consisted of participants from 9th to 11 standards. 5 schools have taken part in the event. In the first category of debate the Charu Tomar from KV Sukna won the first prize for the motion. Ms Riya Agnihotri from KV Sukna won the first prize against the motion. On the other hand in the second category Sarthik Singhal from ABS Bengdubi won the first prize for the motion and Sakshi Jha from KV Bengdubi won the first prize saying against the motion. In the event the major dignitaries present were Mrs. sukhwant Kaur, Zonal President (AWA), Brig. A. K. Patnaik, Brig. Sarkar, Col. A. P. Singh, Col. S. K. Singh etc. were present along with others.
